Raiding history - Explain what raids you have completed and when

I have played WoW since vanilla and started raiding more seriously during Warlords. I raided in several guilds always aiming to at least clear 1/2-2/3 of mythic content during the current content. In warlords I completed both Highmaul and BRF, but did not play HFC because I was doing an internship abroad. In Legion I have completed all raids in which EN was not so good for me to raid mythic since my guild at that time was changing schedule which did not fit my hours. Same as for Trial of Valor. I switched guilds to find a group better suited to my working hours and have raided mythic Nighthold and ToS up to 6/10 and 4/10 respectively. Heroic completion for Legion was all with ahead of the curve of course.

The log I link is one of my rogue (Jarfish) I was maining up to the point that I knew I wanted to start playing a different class. The logs on my warrior are a bit scewed since my guild has started to fall apart in the last month or so and everything is more on farm which I believe does not reflect performance very well.

Do you use your abilities in a rotation or priority system for optimal performance? Can you describe, briefly, how it works? Why?

I have played a sub rogue, unholy dk, and arms warrior in legion. I am opting to apply as arms since I want a class which can tank to do mythic + nice and quickly.

For arms the rotation is quite simple and will vary only slightly based on if you take rend or not. Basically:

Keep rend up -> Colossus Smash on proc -> Execute if lego proc -> Strike with shatterred defences debuff.

When battle cry and other dps increasing abilities are available this stays mostly the same in case ravager is available, but it is just spin and win with blade storm.

During execute phase arms ensure you keep colossus smash off cooldown, cast execute, and only use mortal strike when you have 2 stacks of executioners precision. Rend is only used before battlecry during execute phase.

In general this comes from guides, youtube, and the discord channel which I use to keep up to date on how to perform best in any given spec.

Why do you gear the way you do? Why do you have these items and enchants?

I base my gear on simming with Raidbots.

Each new piece of gear which could be an upgrade is simmed to find it if is an upgrade or not through the top gear function of raidbots. This is the same for gems and enchants.

The only thing that I am more carefull for is to make sure I hit haste breakpoints which is not always very well shown through sims, for this is needed to fit an additional ability within the battlecry window.

Add a link to your raid UI
Share a link of your internet connection connecting to a server in France or Germany (location of game servers)
Link a raid log (Optional, but without it we'll have to assess you even before the trial raid)

Commitment and friendships

Do you know anyone in the guild? Separate by commas

Not Yet :)

Why do you want to join? What do you expect of us?

As mentioned before, my current guild has decided to stop raiding. I want to keep raiding and am still very motivated to take on any challenge that threatens Azeroth. I believe the level of commitment, skill and progress made by this team is similar to the level I would like to play at. Aside from this the dedication you put into your website shows that you are committed to the game, which caught my attention.

Anything else you'd like us to take into consideration?

For now not, I will try to whisper some guild lead in game to talk a bit more in person.

I confirm that I have read the guild rules as set out on
Check this if you have other guild applications ongoing

Hi Volop,

I'm happy to announce that we have accepted you for a trial! However, we must inform you that we don't plan on farming Mythic too much this tier, and and so this really is with an eye towards Antorus, The Burning Throne.

Having said that, we think you'll make a good addition to the team. Welcome!
